TROY, Mich., Mar 15, 2013 — IPS Technology Services recently won a contract to provide CIO Advisory and Healthcare IT Consulting Services to a Physicians Practice in Traverse City.
Under this contract IPS Technology Services will provide technology consulting services to this rapidly growing physicians practice and set up their data center, call center, and technology infrastructure. Currently, this practice provides service to patients at four locations. It also uses an older version of Allscripts EHR system to keep patient records. However, due to tremendous growth of patients and additional providers, the practice is planning to consolidate its administration and call center activities to a fifth location.
IPS Technology Services will conduct a current situation analysis and design the future architecture based on which the EHR and other associated applications will operate in an integrated fashion. IPS will also help build a data center and a call center at the admin location and design the layout of the facility for efficient operation. Lastly, IPS will develop a technology road map to align with the business growth plan as well as integrate the phone system, EHR, and patient portal to enhance operational efficiency, revenue and profitability for the physician.
