IPS Technology Services Gets Approval for software development in SE Michigan for a Veteran Owned Staffing Company
The client, a rapidly growing staffing company based on Michigan was experiencing a loss in productivity and increased administrative costs to carry out its staffing operation to fill in positions for its OEM, Tier 1 and Tier 2 Automotive Companies. This Veteran Owned, mid-sized Staffing Company wanted to also reduce duplicate entries and errors close to zero and eliminate the paper from the process. Furthermore, the client was also spending a significant amount of money as license fees and customization for the current applicant tracking system while most of its features were not used. “This surely is a waste of money and resources; I am spending well over $1,000 per month on license fees, office supplies, and non-value added activities” says the President of the client company (name withheld at client request).
As a solution, IPS Technology Services proposed a new web based custom software application that would streamline the process with features that are required by the delivery model which will also provide seamless integration among various steps and third party software packages and services such as job boards, portals, and the payroll system.
Integration with Payroll system is apparently is a big value to the client as it can start and stop payroll payments eliminating reconciliation efforts. IPS will build this application in Microsoft ASP .Net and C# with SQL Server database as the platform. It will be hosted at IPS data center based on Michigan. The development effort will be less than 6 months with a 4-month rapid development phase when the Beta version will be released. “We are planning to deploy this system with third party integration by the end of this year” says IPS Technology Services president, Pradip Sengupta. “This system will have a less than one-year payback period and it will improve the quality of services and profitability for our client.”
